Hunter Sports High School, located in Gateshead NSW, is a diverse learning community encouraging individuality and excellence in a supportive environment that fosters respect, responsibility and success.
In mid-2015 a group of classroom teachers, executive and senior executive staff members formed the Performance and Development Leadership Team. This team has worked together to plan and develop a range of strategies and resources to effectively introduce and implement the Performance and Development Framework across the school. This process and related resources have been (and will continue to be) documented as part of an Educational Services Teacher Quality Initiative to form a case study that will hopefully benefit other schools who choose to learn from the detailed evaluation of this initial implementation.
Strategies and resources developed throughout this case study will continue to be added to this page over the course of 2015. All resources are generously shared with full permission from the staff at Hunter Sports High School.
